how is everyone taking it as if this actually happened without questioning it... "from an anonymous source close to the supreme court", sounds like something from the Atlantic
and there is no credibility in just claiming you have a source close to the court that said it was true. especially if they somehow remember the exact things that they said
The thing is you can talk someone out of a decision. Just because he supposedly got loud doesnt mean it didnt happen. He might have said something on the line of let the legislature do their jobs
He said that the justices basically said it would be too easy for the opposition's lawyers to get the case thrown out. They needed to change a couple things
Because they had almost no time to craft it relative to how long cases usually are reviewed before filing, especially when its for the highest court in the country
