Have you come up with any ideas about how to facilitate the election news and discussion in one # channel. It would be nice.
The election discussions channel is meant to be a combination of where news stories can be posted and people can discuss the election. The only way to facilitate it the way you're asking it to remove this channel, but some people only want the news channels without others' added commentary.
Understand, but it is a conundrum. It is difficult not to respond to a question in the news section, which leads to other conversation. I have tried to hash tag over from news to discussion already, and it didn't work too well.
Brief responses are fine, its the continuing convos that happen, cluttering the actual news
