well god also told us to kill our children if they misbehaved

plus, if humanity is made in the image of god and catholism belives in god guided evolution, wouldn't that mean god made our genetic code, which would in turn me he made gay people

We are all Gods children, and we are all sinners, and yes he does love us all. But he doesn't love the sin and crimes we commit against each other or him such as homosexuality.

And yes, God does make us. But he doesn't tempt us or make us sin. That's simply our nature, he literally in every possible way couldn't make us sin because it is out of his nature to do something immoral such as tempt someone to do something evil and wrong as he is a morally perfect God.

And if you want me to point out verses in the Bible where it rebukes homosexuality or anything out of heterosexuality, I can get quite a few.

I can understand if you don't believe in the God of the Bible, but that's neither here nor there.

And that's a different conversation to be had then.

@little hollow those passage are actually a left over from an earlier Zoroastrian idea that prohibts anal for safety reasons. the passages in the bible solely refer to sexual acts, being gay is not sinful, man on man anal is, according to the bible. And yes I am a man of god, just with a different scipture.

Being gay (as in being attracted to males) is something that can't be avoided. In order to commit a sin, you would need to commit a gay act. If you're just born as a gay person, you couldn't change anything and it's not your fault even a little bit. If you choose to follow your gay impulses, then you have done something immorally wrong- but being born with a certain attraction or not is something completely out of your control and unavoidable.

It's not like before you're concieved you get an option screen "Gay or no gay". You don't have a choice.
