I have heard somewhat non-descriptively that this is the culmination of some 4 years of work in systems to try and stop the spread of Fake News that 'led to what happened in 2016'.... And...
Either way I look at it genuinely scares me. Supposedly this system is nonbiased, but given the track record of Twitter-book we know that can't be further from the Truth
