We’ll see wtf it does
If all goes to shit
I have a 500gb hdd with an older macOS on it
The latest MacOS edition has some data protection issues
Not as old as the one that’s on it but
Hmmm
As in it logs all your computer activity unencrypted on wifi
Is most WiFi unencrypted
Or
No, the OS keeps unencrypted logs of all system events
Just public WiFi that’s not? I haven’t looked into that a whole bunch
Ah..
I have Catalina on my MacBook Air it’s a 2020 so I can’t download an older version sadly
Possibly go back to Mojave although I’m not sure how I’d go about that
This is one problem
I should clarify the OS logging stuff is for Apple silicon devices
I’m considering ditching Apple when my iPhone 8 dies, I don’t want some stupid ass Face ID (it’s not secure I can break into my brother and moms phones easily without my face being in the phone) and don’t want to pay 1200 for a pocket screen.
And I don’t look super similar to either to clear things up
Does anyone know what software Tyler uses to make his videos?
But I’m on this old ass macOS <:KEK:726877368601411624>
Only the M1 chip?
I have the latest MacBook Air but it was the last intel one released 2020
Just the Apple Sillicon ones I believe
you should delid your MacBook Air and put some liquid metal in there
What would liquid metal do
Liquid metal is an incredibly efficient thermal transfer material, much better then the average stock thermal paste used .
Yeah but it melts to liquid in your hand. Wouldn't it just run all over in the pc?
Or mac
That's why you basically plate it very thinly.
You are just wanting to fill the micro imperfection between the two thermal materials with something, preferably something that itself also transmits heat efficiently.
Ah
Increase thermal performance. You replace the thermal paste with liquid metal to increase heat transfer with the small heatsink on MacBooks. LTT did this and fixed thermal throttling on the i9 MacBook Pro
They were supposed to replace it with the James Webb telescope but that's been delayed until end of next year
Dunno if it'll get delayed again though
Ah I see
Also, they aren't going to take down the hubble telescope, they will use it till it finally breaks and then put it into an orbit where it won't ever hit anything.
make sure if you use liquid metal to cover exposed metal around the cpu (not the silicon itself) with nail lacquer, and NEVER let it near aluminium
It makes the aluminium lose all structural integrity, just look up gallium (major component in liquid metal) vs aluminium
