Look around your laptop, especially the side and bottom and see if there is any weird spot where it looks like something snapped off

2020-12-23 20:44:51 UTC

I honestly don’t know anything that shape

2020-12-23 20:44:57 UTC

On a laptop

I have vinyls too. Excellent sound quality out of them and the more you listen to it the better it gets.

2020-12-23 21:06:35 UTC

Nevermind, it was from our vacuum cleaner.

2020-12-23 21:06:46 UTC

Heh.

2020-12-23 21:11:54 UTC

Time to burn 11 discs at once

2020-12-23 21:12:08 UTC

Literally?

2020-12-23 21:12:20 UTC

Or figuratively?

2020-12-23 21:12:47 UTC

Well 3 discs at a Time

2020-12-23 21:44:51 UTC

Wish I had something that could do that haha

2020-12-23 21:45:02 UTC

Would come in useful every once in a while

2020-12-23 21:46:56 UTC

I have two blu-ray drives that can read quad layer disks (like 4k bluerays), one normal blu-ray drive, and one dvd drive. Come in handy if someone hypothetically wanted to rip lots of movies or TV shows one may own on disk.

Does anyone know any parental blockers for PC, I would like to keep myself pure online, and stuff like that helps. Does windows have a built in parental control like Mac does?

2020-12-24 01:39:56 UTC

I just finished a gaming pc and it’s my first PC ever

2020-12-24 02:16:51 UTC

You could look into setting the DNS on your router to one that blocks mature content

2020-12-24 02:31:08 UTC

I have friends who recommend Covenant Eyes

2020-12-24 02:34:29 UTC

It also apparently covers PC, Mac, phones, and smart TVs (depends on your model obviously) so I've been told. I use Linux solely for my PCs so I can't use it otherwise I've considered it.

2020-12-24 02:39:25 UTC

Is it a more advanced "Safe Search" in essence?

2020-12-24 02:42:08 UTC

My understanding it's more an accountability service.

2020-12-24 02:45:41 UTC

The problem with traditional Network based parental control is that everything is encrypted now days. DNS and network based parental controls are useless in the modern day, you need something local to be able to monitor after the data is decrypted by your system.

Thanks

2020-12-24 03:00:29 UTC

I appreciate that

2020-12-24 03:00:39 UTC

I’ve used convenant eyes before

2020-12-24 03:00:46 UTC

It’s just expensive but its worth it

Took all damn day to print this

2020-12-24 05:35:52 UTC

Hey, cool!

2020-12-24 05:36:48 UTC

Who else besides me thinks these should make a comeback?

2020-12-24 18:59:34 UTC

Probably not

2020-12-24 19:21:16 UTC

Me, sadly there is no chance at all

2020-12-25 02:10:29 UTC

Yeah, the screen accessory is no super well suited to modern game consoles because of how big and heavy they're getting and slim line remodels are pretty rare with new systems...

2020-12-25 02:52:35 UTC

it would go faster than that one I'm sure though, even if they did manage to get it into that size

2020-12-25 15:57:41 UTC

I remember when those were out for the ps2 and xbox

2020-12-25 15:57:43 UTC

I wanted one soooo bad

2020-12-25 15:58:15 UTC

But I feel like people want big TV's nowadays for the latest gen console, not sure it would take off these days

2020-12-25 16:19:19 UTC

Closest practical one would be Wii + automotive adapter + 12v tv, but the battery for that would be pretty heavy XD

2020-12-25 16:20:12 UTC

Did you have to swap out the filaments inbetween each step?

2020-12-25 16:34:55 UTC

Had to swap filaments in between print jobs. Three separate print jobs then super glued everything together
