Make rainwater catchment with that

2020-09-04 02:03:04 UTC

Yeah even a small one is good really. Make a lean-to and place a tarp on with some rocks on top for shelter

2020-09-04 02:03:36 UTC

For water catching digging a hole and placing it in is the most basic as long as it's in an open area

2020-09-04 02:03:59 UTC

I got enough yard back here to put up several tarps

2020-09-04 02:04:11 UTC

Nice! As long as it rains 🤣

2020-09-04 02:04:23 UTC

We get some rain, but only in winter and spring

2020-09-04 02:04:29 UTC

Ah

2020-09-04 02:04:39 UTC

I've also seen people use tarps to distill water

2020-09-04 02:04:42 UTC

So I would need to engineer a way to store it

2020-09-04 02:04:52 UTC

Fortunately I have a hot tub

2020-09-04 02:05:13 UTC

Nice

2020-09-04 02:05:22 UTC

That's about 300 gallons

2020-09-04 02:05:57 UTC

Nice!

2020-09-04 02:06:28 UTC

I bought a countertop water filter with a ceramic and carbon element in it, so it should take the chemicals out of the hot tub water if I need to drink out of that

2020-09-04 02:06:53 UTC

Yeah that's cool

2020-09-04 02:08:37 UTC

Oh I would also recommend a bowie knife lol. I've gotten a pretty nice Elk Ridge one from Big 5 for 10 dollars when it was on sale

2020-09-04 02:08:53 UTC

Normally $30 ?

2020-09-04 02:09:00 UTC

So that was a steal

2020-09-04 02:09:13 UTC

I got blades, guns and ammo covered

2020-09-04 02:09:19 UTC

Oh cool cool

2020-09-04 02:09:30 UTC

I have a sog tech bowie as a primary knife

2020-09-04 02:09:35 UTC

I have blades covered but not ammo or guns lol

2020-09-04 02:09:37 UTC

Oh nice

2020-09-04 02:09:43 UTC

It's like .240 think

2020-09-04 02:09:52 UTC

Dannnng 😅

2020-09-04 02:09:52 UTC

I've beaten that thing through more logs than I care to remember

2020-09-04 02:10:04 UTC

Lol out of my budget rn

2020-09-04 02:10:17 UTC

I've got $60 to my name

2020-09-04 02:10:17 UTC

Yeah they're expensive. A bit too expensive for the alloy of choice

2020-09-04 02:10:21 UTC

Yeah lol

2020-09-04 02:10:24 UTC

But fuck, thats a good knife

2020-09-04 02:10:32 UTC

Yeah I'll bet

2020-09-04 02:10:49 UTC

You're paying like 120, 130 for what should be a 90 dollar knife but it's solid

2020-09-04 02:11:24 UTC

😅

2020-09-04 02:11:41 UTC

Once my family moves to Idaho it will be easier for me to stock up on everything

2020-09-04 02:11:46 UTC

No background checks for ammo

2020-09-04 02:12:18 UTC

Guns are faster acquired because of no 10 day waiting period

2020-09-04 02:12:39 UTC

I've got a 10/22

2020-09-04 02:12:42 UTC

But that's it

2020-09-04 02:22:20 UTC

I bought a lot of cool shit before they started instituting a lot more in the way of restrictions over the last 2, 3 years

2020-09-04 02:22:37 UTC

My rifle, I got very lucky with
