There are some local beekeepers around my house. I'll tell my mom to start storing some non-perishables.
Also, what kind of gun would you guys suggest getting?
How much training or practice do you have?
ur first gun should be a pistol but its not a buyers market to say the least so it depends on ur budget which is sounding like a high point budget
I got a hunting license when I was younger, and I would sometimes use air rifles. I do have enough understanding to operate one safely, but beyond that, not much. My brother knows more, so he could help me.
I'm not 21 yet.
Long gun then, all around, but you can't carry those around in most cities.
Actually, I just looked it up, and I can get one.
gun laws dont apply in s.h.t.f.
True...
but they do at the moment
So, the knowledge is useful
theres allot of 3D printing options out there if u know someone with a printer
If you know a good welder, there are some options as well
Ammunition will be your issue all the time these days.
I'm sorry. The more I look, I realized I can't, but that's fine. I can get a rifle at Dunham's or something.
true that some pipe and 12 gauge shells and you can be i business
My brother can weld, and I know my dad's cousin is good at it.
Going home for the week might be key.
agree
My floor neighbor has a 3D printer, but I don't think he'd take too kindly to me asking to print ammo on a short notice. I barely know the guy.
well good luck im off to play cod
lol
have fun!
and u cant print ammo XD
I'll talk to my parents about coming home, but I don't know if it'll work.
What should I do in that event?
Plan a bike route
Plan to carry 5-6 days worth of food, and figure a way to get water while you travel
it's a 4-8 day trip to bike home for you by my best guess.
I've got bottles, and a Camelbak. I'll need to wash it though.
My map says I can walk to my house in less than a day, so biking should take too long.
get a filter or some survival straws from an outdoor store
OH! Really? I thought it was 70 miles away!
It is.
It's almost straight east of Lafayette.
Maybe if you walk without stopping
Yeah, that's it.
military forced marches are around 20 miles a day
I am an Eagle Scout, so I can always find a spot to hide/camp.
25 if they push things a bit
