That's what this is about.

2020-10-30 23:00:48 UTC

I'm an Eagle Scout. Of course.

2020-10-30 23:01:12 UTC

Same here. Eagle Scout gang!

2020-10-30 23:01:20 UTC

I'm confident I have what I need (at least to start out). It's just a matter of organizing.

2020-10-30 23:02:04 UTC

Well, I've got some homework to wrap up and I need to call my mom about staying home.

2020-10-30 23:02:06 UTC

I live outside a major city, I work inside the city. I carry 30lbs of "get home" gear every day these days.

2020-10-30 23:02:25 UTC

I live an hour from Indy.

2020-10-30 23:02:26 UTC

I don't want to use any of it, but I want to get home if SHTF

2020-10-30 23:02:46 UTC

We can make it. Most of my dad's family lives spread out over my county and the one east of it.

2020-10-30 23:03:31 UTC

We can pull diesel from the farm equipment and get stuff put together.

2020-10-30 23:03:42 UTC

Sounds like a good plan.

2020-10-30 23:04:23 UTC

It also sounds like you've got a good idea of how to be ready. I think you'll be fine.

2020-10-30 23:05:26 UTC

Thanks. If you think of more tips, DM me. I found some manuals online about survival and some other stuff.

2020-10-30 23:05:32 UTC

Have a good one.

2020-10-30 23:07:58 UTC

You too!

2020-10-30 23:08:09 UTC

Peace!

2020-10-30 23:28:37 UTC

I think I changed my mind. I'm not going to stay home, but I'll make sure I'm prepared to leave at a moment's notice.

2020-10-31 01:35:14 UTC

I'm not in a major city, but I'm still staying out of town for awhile after the election. One of the few nice parts of having been sent to work from home because of Covid, means I could head for the lakes for a bit.

2020-10-31 07:16:43 UTC

@Equalibrium basically anything is legal if you deem it legal to use (thats what the crimes act says for self defense) basically we have similar self defense and gun laws to California.

2020-10-31 07:35:09 UTC

@Luke14 Using in self defense and owning are not legally the same thing. Advising to purchase something without knowing or considering their local laws and regulations is, in layman's terms, not being a good friend.

What is that squirrel tail doing

2020-11-03 02:37:27 UTC

And why a hatchet and a mechete

2020-11-03 02:37:34 UTC

Machete

2020-11-03 14:04:42 UTC

Well i imagine the hatchet would be used to cut trees and make firewood, the squirrel thing is a decoration, and the machete idk

2020-11-03 15:07:42 UTC

Got my tools prepped. Just gotta pack a survival bag in case I need to get outta dodge if Lafayette goes nuts.

2020-11-03 21:59:10 UTC

Tomohawk is ultimate tool

2020-11-03 22:20:09 UTC

If you want a good hawk look at two hawks

2020-11-03 22:20:48 UTC

$200 for a hand forged polled hawk and belt loop+sheath

2020-11-04 05:10:13 UTC

Yo i've decided I want to prep my backpack in case shit goes wild here- we live in a super liberal place

2020-11-04 05:10:18 UTC

Any tips?

2020-11-04 06:26:25 UTC

i feel so helped

2020-11-04 06:35:15 UTC

Everyone has taken to <#707691030748594294> and <#760648730431979560>

2020-11-04 06:36:14 UTC

You'll need at least one knife. Preferably a pocket sized and a machete but if you need to settle for just one go for a bowie.

2020-11-04 06:36:24 UTC

You'll need a first aid kit

2020-11-04 06:36:37 UTC

Basic works as long as it is up to date.

2020-11-04 06:36:41 UTC

Fire starter

2020-11-04 06:36:49 UTC

Mess kit

2020-11-04 06:37:04 UTC

Honestly a couple of MREs wouldn't hurt

2020-11-04 06:37:08 UTC

Ammo if you own any
