I'm still in the middle of my first full move in thirty years. It's taking forever, and I'm finding all sorts of stuff.
...And I'm wandering off topic again.
I’ve moved so many times stuff goes missing all the time
Small stuff and big stuff
I moved constantly as a kid. Lost almost everything every time, too.
I had a framed Spider-Man 2 poster that actually came from the movie theater so it was huge, and it just disappeared
Now I'm something of a hoarder.
It was this poster
Nice! Pity you lost it.
I’m only a hoarder when it comes to stuff I find really nostalgic
Which can be quite a few things sometimes
But it’s worn off over the years
I hang onto stuff to use later, or because after the Transformers thing I refuse to sell something for yard sale prices.
I'm building a hardened bunker out of an old milk crate right now, and kitbashing a broken X-Wing and Cloud car into a heavy fighter.
Cool!
I posted pics of my Joe-scale Chocobo in Crafts.
I have a remake of the Kenner Millennium Falcon from 2004, I lost the gun on the top though and the stickers are peeling, but other than that it’s in pretty good shape
I got an X-Wing too
I've got about four. Never had a Y-wing, though.
I also have a diecast Star Destroyer from 1978 and a diecast Millennium Falcon, also 1978
Definitely well played with, but still pretty good condition
I mostly got the figures as a kid. I had a small allowance, and the vehicles mostly came as birthday gifts or as an adult.
I got pretty much all of my stuff on Christmas or my Birthday as a kid
I did the trash, mowed the lawn, cleaned up around the house, and helped cook for a couple of bucks a week. Once I started getting that, my parents stopped buying anything for me that wasn't necessary except birthdays and Christmas.
"You want that? Save up!"
Seems like a pretty good system
My parents were about the same
I've enjoyed chatting. I have to run, though; past midnight, and I'm helping build a porch tomorrow.
Have a great night.
Same here, have a good night!
> Jar-Jar Binks is the best character in cinematic history. Change my mind.
The second best character in cinematic movie history is Joshua Waits from *Troll 2*. Nobody pisses on hospitality quite like he does.
😆
He’s the only one that can defeat Goblins with a bologna sandwich too
Anyone ever seen The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension?
Wacky movie man
The whole cast of Buckaroo did a fan meet and greet about a year ago at The Hollywood Show. So cool-
It's one of my all-time favorites.
Awesome!
