also im assuming you have kids and thats the reason you're watching most of these movies

2020-10-02 10:10:52 UTC

I watch a lot of animated "kid" movies with my parents because they really don't like heavy profanity, and some of the best humor is in kid's movies these days.

Anyone watch The Boys? Specifically season 2 episode 7?

2020-10-03 03:35:39 UTC

Skip it if you dont like obvious, shoe horned politics in your shows πŸ™„

2020-10-03 03:39:35 UTC

I've been watching, but haven't hit that episode yet.

2020-10-03 03:41:09 UTC

I love the show. But youll know exactly what Im talking about when you get there. I had to turn it off

2020-10-03 03:42:03 UTC

I'll keep an eye out.

2020-10-03 19:09:48 UTC

2020-10-03 21:36:40 UTC

Sweet

2020-10-03 21:50:57 UTC

You got it at McKay's right?
I've heard most of their stuff is overpriced is that true 🧐

2020-10-03 22:00:37 UTC
2020-10-03 22:00:48 UTC

I have that exact same book

2020-10-03 22:03:23 UTC

McKays video games and accessories are and their Disney movies are but everything else is actually reasonably priced

2020-10-03 22:03:52 UTC

Mauler I got the book for free

2020-10-03 22:04:06 UTC

same

2020-10-03 22:04:14 UTC

grandpa gave it to me

2020-10-03 22:21:59 UTC

Cool I should check them out

2020-10-06 06:39:13 UTC

@Lucario that book makes me think of that commercial from Progressive. Who else reads books about Submarines? Ueah I know it is about planes

2020-10-06 11:52:25 UTC

It is a very good book

2020-10-06 19:38:37 UTC

I am sure. I like that kind of book myself but for some reason it made me think of that commercial

2020-10-06 22:42:24 UTC

Which does everyone prefer, medieval style fantasy (example: The Lord Of The Rings) or sci-fi style fantasy (example: Star Wars)?

2020-10-06 22:43:20 UTC

Personally I’m a sci-fi fantasy guy, especially when it comes to Star Wars.

2020-10-07 01:02:52 UTC

I like both but I lean more towards the traditional fantasy realm

2020-10-07 01:03:14 UTC

I grew up playing D&D

2020-10-07 01:03:21 UTC

Back before it went all SJW

2020-10-07 01:21:59 UTC

Ah, interesting

2020-10-07 01:22:28 UTC

Same here, when it comes to liking both. But I've I've always leaned towards sci-fi

2020-10-07 01:24:21 UTC

Which medium? Books or movies? @Spectre

2020-10-07 01:24:59 UTC

Movie: space opera. Books: standard or even high fantasy

2020-10-07 01:27:55 UTC

I don't feel that the mysticism in Star Wars detracts from it

2020-10-07 01:28:14 UTC

The same as the lack there of in Star Trek doesn't either from Trek

2020-10-07 01:28:35 UTC

My sci fi tastes vary

2020-10-07 01:28:40 UTC

A good story is a good story

2020-10-07 01:28:50 UTC

I like a lot of Alternate reality stuff and steam punk

2020-10-07 01:29:35 UTC

If you think about it HG Wells' stuff is now considered steampunk

2020-10-07 01:29:43 UTC

Very true

2020-10-07 01:29:54 UTC

When he wrote it it was Sci fi

2020-10-07 01:30:16 UTC

I have developed a liking for The Doc Savage stories and John Carter stuff as well

2020-10-07 01:30:37 UTC

Ever read β€œ1000 years War”?

2020-10-07 01:30:43 UTC

No

2020-10-07 01:31:22 UTC

Basically about a never ending war because neither side can travel the universe quick enough to surrender
