return of the jedi or revenge of the sith
Empire Strikes Back
Best Star Wars movie ever
Jedi, New Hope, then Empire.
Who here has read Fahrenheit 451?
I have
Just bought a new copy.
No clue. Haven't seen it.
I need to look it up.
@DishonoredRonin I haven’t seen it either
It's been a busy week or so. I'll find it.
Getting it now. Not sure how I missed it.
The Killmonger one is a movie. No tags for a show out yet.
@jerpeau Haven’t read but I have watched the three part movie series.
Wag the Dog relates to today, as well.
That's more satire. Wag the Dog is more or less happening.
@jerpeau Though George Orwell was a socialist. That’s kind of funny how most good books are written by crazy people.
Okay I suggest reading Cracker: The Best Dog in Vietnam for anyone who likes war stories. It is my all-time favorite book. Also Megan Leavy is a good movie.
Basically "Bill Clinton" gets caught fiddling in the Oval Office by some visiting scouts, and they go to great lengths to cover it up for re-election.
@jerpeau Yeah he thought that capitalism would to oligarchy collectivism.
@jerpeau I have never read it, but I have been looking into reading it.
Same
What is it about
One of my favorite non-political books is Where the Red Fern Grows. It is pretty sad, but uplifting at the same time.
LMAO
Don't read Stephen Donaldson. Just...don't.
Fantasy, but...ugh.
@jerpeau My favorite movie is The Patriot and my favorite book is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
Okay. First book, hero is fixed by magic, feels so good he immediately brutally rapes an innocent woman.
The Patriot is a good movie
Second book: He goes back to magic land, does it again, with the grand-daughter of first victim. His grand-daughter.
To clarify: That's the *hero*.
Disgusting 🤢
I saw The Patriot for the first time 2 years ago in my 8th grade social studies class. Nothing like a conservative teacher that teaches you the truth.
I ask fantasy fans if they like Donaldson as a test. Any person that says yes, I avoid.
