Yeah I feel like a 5/10 might do it

2020-11-18 21:01:33 UTC

Just because the trailer was good dosent mean the movie is good for example “the last jedi”

2020-11-18 21:46:06 UTC

Aquaman is the only DCEU movie I love. It's just so much better. Shazam! lost me when there was no plot

2020-11-18 21:54:10 UTC

The DCU at the start was trying to be the MCU a decade in. I think if they went back, took their time, and started from the bottom, it could be good.

2020-11-18 22:45:28 UTC

Anyone ever seen I robot?

2020-11-18 23:05:48 UTC

Not yet, I want to see it though

2020-11-18 23:39:40 UTC

Yep. It was decent.

2020-11-19 00:53:54 UTC

return of the jedi or revenge of the sith

2020-11-19 01:01:20 UTC

Empire Strikes Back

2020-11-19 01:01:35 UTC

Best Star Wars movie ever

2020-11-19 01:05:21 UTC

Jedi, New Hope, then Empire.

2020-11-19 01:54:19 UTC

Who here has read Fahrenheit 451?

2020-11-19 02:01:36 UTC

I have

2020-11-19 02:21:45 UTC

Just bought a new copy.

2020-11-19 02:27:55 UTC

No clue. Haven't seen it.

2020-11-19 02:41:53 UTC

I need to look it up.

2020-11-19 02:44:27 UTC

@DishonoredRonin I haven’t seen it either

2020-11-19 02:44:51 UTC

It's been a busy week or so. I'll find it.

2020-11-19 02:48:32 UTC

Getting it now. Not sure how I missed it.

2020-11-19 02:49:17 UTC

The Killmonger one is a movie. No tags for a show out yet.

2020-11-19 02:49:31 UTC

@jerpeau Book is great relates to what is going on today.

2020-11-19 02:50:46 UTC

@jerpeau Haven’t read but I have watched the three part movie series.

2020-11-19 02:51:47 UTC

@jerpeau Yeah she was kind of strange.

2020-11-19 02:52:50 UTC

Wag the Dog relates to today, as well.

2020-11-19 02:52:55 UTC

@jerpeau 1984 and Animal Farm also relate to today.

2020-11-19 02:54:11 UTC

That's more satire. Wag the Dog is more or less happening.

2020-11-19 02:54:19 UTC

@jerpeau Though George Orwell was a socialist. That’s kind of funny how most good books are written by crazy people.

2020-11-19 02:55:32 UTC

Sort of? Fake war to cover up a scandal.

2020-11-19 02:55:42 UTC

Okay I suggest reading Cracker: The Best Dog in Vietnam for anyone who likes war stories. It is my all-time favorite book. Also Megan Leavy is a good movie.

2020-11-19 02:56:59 UTC

Basically "Bill Clinton" gets caught fiddling in the Oval Office by some visiting scouts, and they go to great lengths to cover it up for re-election.

2020-11-19 02:57:14 UTC

@jerpeau Yeah he thought that capitalism would to oligarchy collectivism.

2020-11-19 03:01:47 UTC

@jerpeau Have you ever read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

2020-11-19 03:03:27 UTC

@jerpeau I have never read it, but I have been looking into reading it.

2020-11-19 03:04:00 UTC

Same

2020-11-19 03:04:20 UTC

What is it about

2020-11-19 03:05:51 UTC

One of my favorite non-political books is Where the Red Fern Grows. It is pretty sad, but uplifting at the same time.

2020-11-19 03:07:47 UTC

@jerpeau I have read both and I love them.

2020-11-19 03:09:40 UTC

LMAO

2020-11-19 03:09:59 UTC

Don't read Stephen Donaldson. Just...don't.

2020-11-19 03:13:00 UTC

Fantasy, but...ugh.

2020-11-19 03:13:10 UTC

@jerpeau My favorite movie is The Patriot and my favorite book is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
