Ngl, Doctor Pimple Popper turned out to be a surprisingly wholesome, informative show. Despite being a completely and utterly disgusting premise, I managed to sit through an episode out of morbid curiosity and I actually can see why the lead lady would help people like this for a living. She does it for next to nothing compared to other surgeries too

Like she honestly just comes off as someone who wants to help people who are ashamed of their own bodies and she tries normalizing it through humanization and by getting the gross factor out of the way
