To effect the outcome that is.
It definitely affected the invasion of the mainland
We were due to invade before November
This is such a cool paint scheme
that was a fun time in naval history
*(My post about kamikazes was sarcastic. Don't take it too seriously).*

Japan started its imperial ambitions about 200 years too late. Shame really it could have joined the big boys in Europe and been a great empire
If the japanese stayed like they were (Manchuria Menguko Korea and Taiwan) I think everything would work out
Japan 👆
BTW that was a good convo lads and gents
👍
This is a cool scheme too
WW2 ships are so much better looking than modern day ships
Yeah
There is an infinite number of varients to the M113
it's kinda crazy
Yeah
it's truly a multirole vehicle
my Unpopular opinion: Japan was worse than Germany in WW2. Yes, both were absolutely brutal, but Japan killed 8 million chinese civilians and regularly tortured absolutely anyone, regardless or their race, and used absolutely horrific methods to do so
They also regularly raped children
and, needless to say, unit 731
At least the Nazis treated some pows with respect. The Japanese treated everyone equally bad
Yes, the Nazis did kill more people, but they were much less focused on torture, plus only 30% of the german pop. were registed Nazis
the rest of them were unwilling
like Rommel
but the Japanese were completely infatuated with torture
about 99% of them

@A Person Finally! Someone who agrees with me!
It's weird reading about the old days closer to the times of WWII when it was cool to be xenophobic against the Japanese, coming from an era where I grew up on Nintendo games and now people who are sick of politics in cartoons and sports are turning increasingly to anime and manga.
I almost don't like using the word "xenophobic". It's such an overused liberal word. But it seems to describe some of the attitudes I've seen towards the Japanese from that era, because they were on the other side of the war from us.
well that's how propaganda works
you have to dehumanize the enemy
soldiers have to justify it to themselves
Japan's redemption arc is truly the greatest any nation has ever had.
yeah
