hey so totally unrelated question is it reasonable to get tactics mixed up with political ideologies? (I'm talking about blitzkrieg and Nazism)
I dont think so at all. All is fair in love and war, tactics are tactics. I guess some tactics involve politics, but I dont think saying a certain strategy that was overwhelmingly effective is bad because of the people who used it, or is "Nazi-istic" if that makes sense.
Thats the funny thing though, the tactics the nazi's used were derived from French combined arms tactics in ww1
and the americans used them during the invasion of iraq
but apparently some people believe otherwise
there you go! nearly all strategies or tactical plans arent completely unique and new. theyre built off of past strategies or potential ones. that right there kills the entire argument some people are trying to make.
