Like, pen values for stock ammo are all sorts of fucked up, HE does better at penetrating than AP does even against flat surfaces, gotta pay to use the good ammo
Frankly i think armor in WoT's is irrelevant, because someone on the opposite team will still find a way to pen you no matter your thickness or angling
Probably didnt help that the IJN and their airforce were the teachers pet, so almost all funding and resources went to making ships and planes and fueling them, while the IJA just sits there in the mud with trench foot
