its simple, creating a skirmish at the Indian border and losing further drives the apearence and distracts from other things they are doing

Their best tank (Type-99) has 400mm of Turret Armor and 260mm of Hull armor, ERA bumps that to 725mm

Our M1A2 can punch through with 831mm of penetration

in the age of Tank warfare, armor has become fairly irrelivent as armor has not been able to keep up with the rapidly advancing ballistics tech of Sabots

the Ground is a luxury we can afford as long as we can ensure its our Planes controlling the skies

issue is, you cant really do bombing runs on targets unless you absolutely have air superiority, which is something we wont really have against China mainland wise, since we can only carry so many fighters to their coastline while they can have hundreds upon hundreds in the air taking out bombers and fighters

@Zilla It works, 40% of the time, it has yet to be perfected, they are copying it from Israel's Iron Dome technology

even if it only works 40% of the time, that still heavily hampers our abilities to actually bomb them

America holds the Unique advantage of being to combine the Quality and Quantity aspects of good armies, which is an advantage we need to effectively utilize to be able to fight China and hold the advantage
