who could have possibly given us a stealth capable varient with a vastly more up to date computer system
why didn't they do that
:(
A-10 as a 7th gen fighter would be cool
YA-10B Blackout
Mhmm
Maybe
i see they are talking about the a10
fellow cultured folk i see
All of you are sayin' Army or Marines, my answer which one has cool planes such as the B-52s, that's right, the U.S. Air Force
Navy 😜
Duh
I got 3 generations behind me that were in the USAF
So yeah i agree
@Hot babe VK168.01 (P) its still the pride of the navy to this day, because it is the only ship they have LOL
Lol
you forget, they still have the Anti-Air to actually shoot stuff down
And that anti air has been getting spicy lately
Wish they could go back and make more A-10's, especially the two seat versions. Would have loved to had an incentive ride on one when I was active.
apparently the A10 isn't very fast and not well protected which is why they stopped making them
That is a very uninformed opinion. The A-10 has some of the most rediculously redundant backup systems and pilot protection of any aircraft ever built. It'll literally a flying tank.
Im not saying thats what i think, im saying thats the reason they gave
Personally i don't see any reason to get rid of it
I understand that is the report, not you. I'm just POed about it.
...
The A-10 has backup systems for it's backup systems, and then a manual backup for that backup.
The pilot sits in a titanium "bathtub" of armor with some of the thickest bullet proof laminate ever installed on an aircraft for the canopy over their head.
The F-35 is an all around air superiority fighter, not a close air support craft.
The F-35 has:
-No self sealing tanks
-No armor for the pilot for small arms fire.
-Fire power and flight range insufficient to provide consistent close support.
The whole thing is a scam, and a ponzi scheme. Those responsible should be procecuted.
jesus
I knew that people didn't like the F35 and now i see why
I'd wager my lifes' savings on that the F-35 can't do that.
I'm, told that the F22s are still better
and im inclined to believe it
There is a reason we're selling f-35s to our allies and not F-22s
ah i see
oh wait
huh
should we tell them about the whole, flying coffin thing?
International negociations are not something I'm resposible for. Nor am I privy to all the agreements required.
eh fair enough
My guess is that the F-35 are capable of a secure one way data link to our forces and thus allow integration of our military tactics network and our allies.
But who knows.
