Its just a 6 pointer
@JOEYSAVAGE yeah, dogs are a lot easier to hunt. Especialy with all the new neighbors
I went rabbit hunting and I didt use a dog and got some so you don’t Have too
how are you still catching bass this time of year? xD
Everything is still green, maybe Florida?
Yep. South Florida. We just had a cold front come through but the water still felt like a bathtub
We got a cold front and the deer started moving, it’s snowed which is rare for Alabama
I wish I got snow here
jeez, your south of me winchester, and we haven't really gotten below freezing in yet xD NOVA is a weird place for weather though. Kinda between the north and the south, so it is very mild year round.
We got about 1 and a half inches but only 3/4 stuck
@sixfivebyfiftyfive where are you from?
technically, I guess I am from SC. I was born on Shaw AFB, but have since lived in NM, i think Bama, north Texas, NOVA, south-central Texas, and now I am back in NOVA for a little bit. <:KEK:726877368601411624>
sweet bass btw. I don't think I have a picture, but my pb was about that size aswell.
I caught him on a black and white marabou craw-dad thing I tied up.
I'll try to find it, I think I still have the lure itself.
Nice
That bass was probably about a 4 pounder and I caught it on some cheap Amazon crankbait my friend had
I know it’s so weird
Hey what does NOVA stand for by the way?
northern virginia. Its bit dif from the rest of VA just b/c of the political climate
Ah I see
Do you have Snakehead up there?
on the lower half of the Potomac, yes. I don't believe* they have been confirmed to exist above the Great-Falls damn though.
I think I read somewhere that they live from Florida all the way up to Maryland
this guy caught a record snakehead here in 2016. before that, they thought snakehead couldn't grow to be larger than 2feet in the potomac do too the water quality.
yes I believe your right.
Dang
Do you catch them?
that fish is 18.42 pounds, according to google
no I dont
Oh well if you do, eat it. I’ve tried it before and it’s delicious
so I've heard.
damn, looks good!
I'm told some species are poisonous, but I think that Changus Argus (what we have in VA) is safe if cooked.
Pan fry a snakehead, throw some panko on it and it’s amazing
panko?
