Flame now, think later. Ooga booga.

2020-12-05 05:17:43 UTC

Well, Georgia state law says that for modern firearms it must be .22 centerfire or larger caliber. So technically since a flamethrower is larger than a .22, shouldn't that work?

*Proceeds to call in napalm strike on doe

2020-12-05 05:18:09 UTC

Lol

2020-12-05 05:18:43 UTC

It could be considered a firearm. Ba dum shish.

2020-12-05 05:19:09 UTC

Well it takes the fire part of firearm quite literally

2020-12-05 05:19:35 UTC

That’s the joke.

2020-12-05 05:21:09 UTC

By the way, did you guys know that muzzleloaders aren’t considered firearms?

2020-12-05 05:21:22 UTC

How strange.

2020-12-05 05:22:19 UTC

What would you call muzzleloaders then if they’re not firearms?

2020-12-05 05:22:35 UTC

Smoke pole?

2020-12-05 05:22:48 UTC

My little field box. 4x8 enclosed and 4x8 deck, sliding windows and insulated

2020-12-05 05:22:48 UTC

They're considered firearms, at least in Georgia, just primitive firearms

2020-12-05 05:23:29 UTC

Here in Colorado, they are not considered firearms. Nice stand by the way.

2020-12-05 05:23:53 UTC

Dang all I have is basic boxes for blinds

2020-12-05 05:24:27 UTC

Thanks! Going to add stairs so my pops can get in it easier, but that'll run about another $375 right now, gonna wait til the new year, lumber prices should drop

2020-12-05 05:26:07 UTC

It's in the middle of a field we used to grow hay in, can get a clear shot for 100 yards east, about 250 north, and roughly 300 south

2020-12-05 05:26:09 UTC

My dad nailed this buck from our little tree stand this year.

2020-12-05 05:26:10 UTC

Yeah lumber is really expensive right now

2020-12-05 05:27:07 UTC

Nice! You must be out northwest

2020-12-05 05:27:23 UTC

That would be considered an alien here lol

2020-12-05 05:28:06 UTC

Yeah. We have some pretty nice mule deer here, but we don’t get many white tail.

2020-12-05 05:28:27 UTC

I was just about to ask if it was mule lol

2020-12-05 05:28:27 UTC

It’s all whitetail here in Michigan

2020-12-05 05:28:37 UTC

Not familiar with them

2020-12-05 05:28:43 UTC

All whitetail here, too

2020-12-05 05:29:18 UTC

Tho, thanks to some rich nuts, and some redneck idiots poaching from the rich nuts, there have been some strange ones released here

2020-12-05 05:29:45 UTC

Oof

2020-12-05 05:30:06 UTC

Mule deer are a lot bigger than whitetail, but they don’t taste nearly as good. I prefer whitetail meat, but that is in short supply.

2020-12-05 05:30:37 UTC

The rich guys brought in breeds from all over, in high fences, the rednecks broke in to kill them and left the fence damaged, deer escaped

2020-12-05 05:30:46 UTC

So in a way your doing a favor by taking the mule deer out to the population

2020-12-05 05:30:47 UTC

The ones they brought in were solid white

2020-12-05 05:31:29 UTC

Those won’t live long, depending on what predators you got out there.

2020-12-05 05:31:34 UTC

And when they were released and bred with the local population it created mixed breed, piebald we call it

2020-12-05 05:32:04 UTC

Sometimes they'll be mostly white, sometimes they just have white patches in places

2020-12-05 05:32:17 UTC

Weird.

2020-12-05 05:32:19 UTC

We just have coyotes in Michigan, nothing a big whitetail buck couldn’t handle

2020-12-05 05:32:21 UTC

Sister in law killed one this year with a piebald belly and socks

2020-12-05 05:32:37 UTC

Coyotes tear the fawns apart, that's the problem with them

2020-12-05 05:32:44 UTC

Yeah

2020-12-05 05:33:08 UTC

Why I'm hesitant to kill a doe when she has young
