to be a bit more accurate. most of that cash is tackle

2020-12-20 18:04:48 UTC

my bass setup is a lews mach speedstick, 7' medium heavy, and a daiwa tatula ct 8:1

2020-12-20 18:05:10 UTC

and im only a sophomore and dont have a liscence yet let alone car

2020-12-20 18:05:22 UTC

so i dont have a good way to transport multiple rods

2020-12-20 18:06:22 UTC

then a tackle backpack that is packed with around $250 worth of gear

2020-12-20 18:07:19 UTC

and recently got a bike rod holder that i modded to mount to my rear MTB axle to hold a rod at an angle off the back

2020-12-20 18:07:50 UTC

plus a rod cover bc im paranoid about trees catching the eyelets and ripping one off

2020-12-20 18:08:08 UTC

its a real life saver on the 20 mile roundtrips i do with friends

2020-12-21 01:41:00 UTC

holy crap, your riding 10 miles to fish? thats a new level of dedication xD

2020-12-21 01:41:21 UTC

I feel ya on the tree thing though, i dont have a car either, so I have to watch out for trees when I bike

2020-12-21 01:41:46 UTC

i usually dont go further than 5 miles, tops

Goin duck hunting tommorow, wish me luck!

2020-12-21 02:19:42 UTC

2020-12-21 02:56:10 UTC

2020-12-21 04:18:23 UTC

@sixfivebyfiftyfive i am into road biking and normally do 30 miles, and im working up to a 70 mile ride, so that distance will only be increasing, but riding with a rod and 8-10 pound tackle bag can be tiring

2020-12-21 04:18:36 UTC

😂

2020-12-21 09:30:30 UTC

Texas?

2020-12-21 12:33:35 UTC

Florida?

2020-12-21 15:24:42 UTC

can confirm, live in florida, its a spoonbill

2020-12-21 15:49:29 UTC

I ride xc (mtb) recreationally, and so 30 miles is very doable for me as well, but that is assuming I am running minimal kit. Like you said, adding rods and tackle make that a bit harder <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-12-21 17:22:04 UTC

Yah

Well my duck hunt didt go well, but it was fun

But I did get a Spek and a coot, it was WAY to foggy to see any ducks at all

2020-12-22 01:38:00 UTC

I was just in Florida and I saw some

2020-12-22 19:11:25 UTC

We duck hunt at a place called lacassine refuge. It has a decent amount of ducks but not anything ridiculous. This one is public because all the private refuges are ridiculously expensive due to the limited amount of marsh land.

2020-12-22 19:14:39 UTC

Theres a guy on our deer lease who has a membership to a private a club and he pays thousands a year.

2020-12-22 19:23:02 UTC

I can't to hunting anymore because I went duck hunting and lost all my guns and ammunition in a boating accident

2020-12-22 19:26:43 UTC

Sad day 😉
