There ain鈥檛 a lot of exciting fish where I live but there is 1 it鈥檚 a spoonbill and man they are a blast to catch
Nice!
@Donald Trump paddlefish?
Yes a type of paddlefish
Cool I just wanted to make sure it was a paddlefish.
Where I鈥檓 from there鈥檚 a type of bird called a spoonbill
Ahh ok
been bass fishing quite a bit, (i live in florida)
and have around $450 with all my bass gear rounded up
wow, your doing good! I have probably got about a 1000$ into fishing now... :/
ofc, I spent most of that on rods, so that's why.

to be a bit more accurate. most of that cash is tackle
my bass setup is a lews mach speedstick, 7' medium heavy, and a daiwa tatula ct 8:1
and im only a sophomore and dont have a liscence yet let alone car
so i dont have a good way to transport multiple rods
then a tackle backpack that is packed with around $250 worth of gear
and recently got a bike rod holder that i modded to mount to my rear MTB axle to hold a rod at an angle off the back
plus a rod cover bc im paranoid about trees catching the eyelets and ripping one off
holy crap, your riding 10 miles to fish? thats a new level of dedication xD
I feel ya on the tree thing though, i dont have a car either, so I have to watch out for trees when I bike
i usually dont go further than 5 miles, tops
Goin duck hunting tommorow, wish me luck!
Good luck
Good luck my friend
@sixfivebyfiftyfive i am into road biking and normally do 30 miles, and im working up to a 70 mile ride, so that distance will only be increasing, but riding with a rod and 8-10 pound tackle bag can be tiring

Texas?
Florida?
can confirm, live in florida, its a spoonbill
I ride xc (mtb) recreationally, and so 30 miles is very doable for me as well, but that is assuming I am running minimal kit. Like you said, adding rods and tackle make that a bit harder <:KEK:726877368601411624>
Yah
Well my duck hunt didt go well, but it was fun
But I did get a Spek and a coot, it was WAY to foggy to see any ducks at all
@KingCookie3rd Correct!
I was just in Florida and I saw some
We duck hunt at a place called lacassine refuge. It has a decent amount of ducks but not anything ridiculous. This one is public because all the private refuges are ridiculously expensive due to the limited amount of marsh land.
Theres a guy on our deer lease who has a membership to a private a club and he pays thousands a year.
I can't to hunting anymore because I went duck hunting and lost all my guns and ammunition in a boating accident
