Some of you 2A defenders do a great job using the Constitution and statistics to show why guns are better for self defense. But here is a paper arguing why that is ultimately irrelevant: Your right to bear arms is a derivative right. If you have a right to life, you necessarily have a right to defend it by whatever means you can use to preserve yourself, including firearms. The "death tolls" that may come when arming a nation is a huge red herring.
