What cheaper 1911 do you guys think is best?

I don't have the money for a high end 1k one

But just a .45 for self preservation and fun

1911 is my favorite pistol platform

I bought a 1911 Springfield with a wooden grip for like 500 bucks

@The KiTT Depends on what caliber you fired, but making/using different grain will have different kick back as well.

I personally don’t know much about this gun, but apparently comes in .357 cal, .44 and .50.

Ya you can switch the barrel on it for each caliber.

The deagle needs a slightly different grip than most handguns. You’re supposed to lock your elbows and hold the gun straight out instead of having a bend like normal

The deagle is a monster compared to all other handguns

go with a 9mm or a .45

thats why i prefer the taurus judge

no need to aim with a shotgun, just point in that general direction

I prefer anything that's accurate beyond 30 feet

most self defense situations would happen close up anyhow

and a shotgun will create a LOT of puncture wounds
