Well sort of
Even though it has been sporterized beyond recognition, I still love it
I need another gun like another hole in body
Sporterized are nicer in many ways tbh
Yes
My buddy has both and the sporter is far lighter
But loses that classic look that reminds you that if things were different, that gun could've tasted the blood of those who opposed the united states
my dads gun. his first project as a captain in R&D.
Lmao
I think the a10 is gorgeous
yes it is
The flying brick with a gatling cannon
Sounds dumb, until it removes any trace of your existence
yes i can tell you stories about that gun
@AG the twist rate does matter. 1 in 7 is ideal for 55 grain. I use 1 in 8 personally as I use 77 grain tracers. Lighter rounds start scattering a bit. I overlap shots at 100 meters with a 1 in 7 with 55 grain but get 1" groupings with my 1 in 8. 77 grain tracers overlap.
My next AR is a 1 in 7 with a 20" barrel and solid stock. A2 platform.
I gave the last one to a friend.
My current is a 16" 1 in 8 with the gas block dead center of the barrel.
Not the best for some applications but nice to use in the brush.
Im thinking a Shaw barrel, stainless with button rifilings. Gas block 3/4, and a more common threaded end. The 28 TPI pitch is specialty.
Did you get PTSD? Lol. I still cant get over that news anchor claiming that...
Ikr....
