Dont know, I dont shoot ARs that much

2020-06-21 13:43:00 UTC

I prefer my 1903

2020-06-21 13:43:03 UTC

Oooooooo

2020-06-21 13:43:10 UTC

I’m looking for one now !!!

2020-06-21 13:43:16 UTC

Well sort of

2020-06-21 13:43:21 UTC

Even though it has been sporterized beyond recognition, I still love it

2020-06-21 13:43:29 UTC

I need another gun like another hole in body

2020-06-21 13:43:53 UTC

Sporterized are nicer in many ways tbh

2020-06-21 13:43:58 UTC

Yes

2020-06-21 13:44:06 UTC

My buddy has both and the sporter is far lighter

2020-06-21 13:44:37 UTC

But loses that classic look that reminds you that if things were different, that gun could've tasted the blood of those who opposed the united states

2020-06-21 13:45:09 UTC

my dads gun. his first project as a captain in R&D.

2020-06-21 13:45:55 UTC

The flying brick with a gatling cannon

2020-06-21 13:46:14 UTC

Sounds dumb, until it removes any trace of your existence

2020-06-21 13:46:16 UTC

yes i can tell you stories about that gun

2020-06-21 14:29:28 UTC

@AG the twist rate does matter. 1 in 7 is ideal for 55 grain. I use 1 in 8 personally as I use 77 grain tracers. Lighter rounds start scattering a bit. I overlap shots at 100 meters with a 1 in 7 with 55 grain but get 1" groupings with my 1 in 8. 77 grain tracers overlap.

2020-06-21 14:30:49 UTC

My next AR is a 1 in 7 with a 20" barrel and solid stock. A2 platform.

2020-06-21 14:31:10 UTC

I gave the last one to a friend.

2020-06-21 14:31:40 UTC

My current is a 16" 1 in 8 with the gas block dead center of the barrel.

2020-06-21 14:32:07 UTC

Not the best for some applications but nice to use in the brush.

2020-06-21 14:33:54 UTC

Im thinking a Shaw barrel, stainless with button rifilings. Gas block 3/4, and a more common threaded end. The 28 TPI pitch is specialty.

2020-06-21 14:47:48 UTC

Shot my first AR-15 yesterday, very satisfying

2020-06-21 14:57:11 UTC

Did you get PTSD? Lol. I still cant get over that news anchor claiming that...

2020-06-21 14:59:17 UTC

Ikr....
