2020-06-30 00:16:54 UTC

Ahh, I thought it was the GSG. FUn times.

2020-06-30 00:17:06 UTC

Yes, it's the GSG sold by ATI

2020-06-30 00:17:32 UTC

The others are all milsurps

2020-06-30 00:18:17 UTC

As a German I am very happy that our guns are still being appreciated somewhere

2020-06-30 00:19:21 UTC

@ChronicallyChronic That a Type 38 Arisaka?

2020-06-30 00:20:14 UTC

From top to bottom: Mosin 7.62x54R 1935 Izzy arsenal, Type 38 Arisaka 6.5 Jap 1934 Tokyo arsenal, M1895 Chilean Mauser 7mm Mauser and M95 Mannlicher carbine 8x56R

2020-06-30 00:20:22 UTC

Nice looking collection 👍

2020-06-30 00:20:48 UTC

I have a kar98 but I wish I had a stg44 that's for sure

2020-06-30 00:21:22 UTC

Thanks. The M95 is FEG buitl in Budapest

2020-06-30 00:21:47 UTC

If you can find a "real" STG 44, be prepared to spend upwards of $30000

2020-06-30 00:21:59 UTC

Yeah

2020-06-30 00:22:02 UTC

You should add an Enfield to your collection.

2020-06-30 00:22:36 UTC

One of my buddies is a licensed manufacturer. Has a real StG 44. It's neat.

2020-06-30 00:23:11 UTC

Never did really care for Enfields. Would like to add a Gras, a rolling block Springfield and a Chasspot

2020-06-30 00:23:25 UTC

Crazy thing speaking of german engineering my department wants to sell all of our mp5's for sig mcx's which is absolutely stupid in my opinion

2020-06-30 00:24:27 UTC

Rolling block? Is that like a trapdoor?

2020-06-30 00:24:32 UTC

I don't know. People are calling the MPX "MP5 killer."

2020-06-30 00:25:35 UTC

Well I'm trying my hardest to keep mine

2020-06-30 00:25:35 UTC

The rolling block is the Model 1871 Springfield, you cock the hammer then roll the breech block to the real to pop in the round. The trapdoor pops up and forward.

2020-06-30 00:26:21 UTC

So the trapdoor is newer. Right?

2020-06-30 00:26:47 UTC

Yeah, that's the 1873 model

2020-06-30 00:27:45 UTC

Looks expensive. My dad had a .45-70 Springfield...but don't recall the model. That was 50 years ago.

2020-06-30 00:28:26 UTC

I only have one Springfield...a 1903.

2020-06-30 00:28:49 UTC

YOu can find 1873's $700 - $800....the rolling blocks are crazy expensive, only 10000 were made and the french ended up with then to fight off the Germans in the Franco-Prussian War.

2020-06-30 00:29:41 UTC

So probably not many rolling blocks left in the states? Is that right?

2020-06-30 00:29:43 UTC

Remington made a hell of a lot more of them

2020-06-30 00:30:45 UTC

Remington made something like 80000 - 90000. The springfield made ones are the really rare ones. If you want to shoot them you need to find 50-70 Government in black powder.

2020-06-30 00:30:53 UTC

not an everyday round anymore

2020-06-30 00:32:55 UTC

Expensive shooting no doubt. Messy clean up afterwards also. Havnt had a black powder firearm for about 40 yes now. Sold my Colt Navy.

2020-06-30 00:35:11 UTC

Oooo. Sold your Colt Navy. That hurts!

2020-06-30 00:36:05 UTC

Yeah...regretted it ever since. 1851 .

2020-06-30 00:36:20 UTC

Dude, that criminal!

2020-06-30 00:36:41 UTC

Hello all! Just showed up in the discord. Saw this thread/channel so here they are! This is my “fud gun” collection. I tend not to post pics of my modern ones for obvious reasons. I’d be happy to answer any question on these.

Idk if you guys would prefer this as some FB groups do but Not For Sale

They weren't worth that much back then.

2020-06-30 00:37:09 UTC

@Wazup Oh I like

2020-06-30 00:37:47 UTC
