thanks and again sorry lol, do you know if there are any .22 lever action rifles?

2020-07-05 14:20:31 UTC

I'm sure there are yes

2020-07-05 14:21:48 UTC

okay, because I'm looking at getting a nice real gun soon, (after i get use with a .22 bolt action) but want to stay in the super cheap ammo area so ya thanks!

2020-07-05 14:23:51 UTC

👍

2020-07-05 14:59:17 UTC

Yep, that's a .22. These idiot show up with .22s, empty armor carriers and empty magazine pouches. Plus, I don't see any IFAK kits on them.

well spent shell casings make for good show when u have a shotgun round belt

2020-07-05 15:19:54 UTC

only a decent gun owner would know its just a show event

2020-07-05 16:09:17 UTC

.22 is dirt cheap mostly everywhere

2020-07-05 19:26:49 UTC

just got a bucket o' 1500 for $100. what is the normal ppr when not in the midst of an election year/a pandemic/gov't official backed rioting/calls for police defunding?

2020-07-05 19:30:03 UTC

@AG looks like a 9mm AR. At least this one has flip sights

2020-07-05 19:30:49 UTC

I have an AR without a dust cover and no forward assist. Lets just say its not my "go-to" rifle in a SHTF scenario.

2020-07-05 19:31:15 UTC

Im a stickler on cleanliness. All my weapons can pass a white glove test

2020-07-05 19:44:10 UTC

I was wondering if it was a pistol caliber gun as well.

2020-07-05 19:45:11 UTC

My guns are almost as dirty as my women @Ironman

2020-07-05 19:45:18 UTC

And just as used

Yessir

2020-07-05 19:53:03 UTC

@Ironman ar w/o dust cover will pass a white glove test? But what about the bcg lube?

2020-07-05 20:07:14 UTC

@110100100 the test is to see dirt and carbon, not oil. You only need a very small, thin layer of oil on anything that moves or makes contact with a moving part. I clean my 1911 every 2 to 3 days to get the dirt off from open carry. A clean firearm is a reliable firearm. My personal AR has a dust cover and forward assist. My "toy" AR is a cheapie DPS without those luxuries. Its for varmint control, not for depending on.

2020-07-05 20:08:46 UTC

A rifle without oil is like an engine without oil. Yeah it works, for a minute or two. Then the damage occurs. Irreversible damage.

$400 binary trigger

Oil in an AR? No. Grease.

I shoot a LOT and clean my AR about annually, my EDC maybe every six months.

@Sage grease? Really? Its not a ball joint. A light coat of 3 in 1 or other light machine oil.

> @Sage grease? Really? Its not a ball joint. A light coat of 3 in 1 or other light machine oil.
@Ironman For really. Light coat of grease on the bearing surfaces. Grease stays where you put it, and attracts way less dirt than oil does. Oil's best for sealed systems.

2020-07-05 21:54:01 UTC

@longdickerson which trigger did you end up going with?
