But the Remington was cheap and I was broke

2020-07-19 14:29:21 UTC

I'm a Mossberg fan.

2020-07-19 14:30:02 UTC

The 870 was as much as a maverick 88 so I went for the 870

2020-07-19 14:30:55 UTC

the Maverick is a good gun. My bestie has one and it is almost indistinguishable from my 500

2020-07-19 14:34:53 UTC

I've been wanting to get a scar but them shits expensive

2020-07-19 14:36:18 UTC

Can get 6 AR-15 for the price of 1 scar

2020-07-19 14:37:57 UTC

Or 1 heavily modded AR-15 and a shit ton of ammo

2020-07-19 15:00:35 UTC

SCARs are apparently really hard on optics, too. Better off with the AR.

2020-07-19 15:00:52 UTC

You're welcome

2020-07-19 15:38:40 UTC

I finally made a step towards my first pew pew purchase. Put a down payment on a $750 AR-15

After going to a gun show for the first time yesterday I could easily see myself spending all I have on guns XD

2020-07-19 16:01:26 UTC

@Lucas's Rage is it your first gun?

2020-07-19 16:03:16 UTC

Its both a self defense gun and a smoke screen creater

2020-07-19 16:03:36 UTC

You can build an Ar-15 cheaper

2020-07-19 16:06:14 UTC

Need to be 21+ to build an Ar-15

2020-07-19 16:06:20 UTC

That's the downside

2020-07-19 16:06:32 UTC

But you can buy one at 18 makes no sense

2020-07-19 16:39:43 UTC

Lol yโ€™all are like, I started at 13, I started at 6 get in my level nerds

2020-07-19 16:47:39 UTC

Idk if I would give a 6 year old a fire arm

2020-07-19 16:49:48 UTC

Buying a gun is less dangerous than building one, imo

2020-07-19 16:52:11 UTC

Can buy a rifle at 18 but gotta wait till 21 for a handgun

2020-07-19 16:53:05 UTC

What kind of logic is that lmao

2020-07-19 16:53:25 UTC

Allot of states have that law

2020-07-19 16:53:38 UTC

;-;

2020-07-19 17:35:09 UTC

Federal law says you have to be 21 to buy anything that's not a rifle or shotgun from an FFL. Sadly, a receiver is not a rifle or shotgun...

2020-07-19 17:35:44 UTC

In my state you can buy a long gun at 18

2020-07-19 17:35:46 UTC

> Buying a gun is less dangerous than building one, imo
@KumquatLord Eh. AR15s are easy mode for building. You almost have to know how to fuck it up and then do it wrong on purpose to make something dangerous.

2020-07-19 17:36:27 UTC

Yeah, and that jives with federal law. Lots of states where you don't have to go through an FFL for private transfers, you can buy a handgun before 21, or can receive one as a gift. Texas is that way.

Reasons guns are better than women:

Guns don't cook, clean, or reciprocate sexual activities. Then again, neither does the wife.
