A military/law enforcement model

2020-07-19 21:58:54 UTC

I want a 1911

2020-07-19 21:59:06 UTC

And a mosin 😍

2020-07-19 21:59:16 UTC

And a mini 14

2020-07-19 21:59:21 UTC

And a shotgun of some sort.

2020-07-19 21:59:44 UTC

Then my gun collection will be not complete still and I'll have the urge to buy more....

2020-07-19 21:59:53 UTC

But hey, it's a start?

2020-07-19 21:59:56 UTC

1911 isn't that great

2020-07-19 22:00:02 UTC

Get a shotgun

2020-07-19 22:00:09 UTC

Very versatile

2020-07-19 22:00:17 UTC

Oh yeah I'm sure you like glocks 😆

2020-07-19 22:00:37 UTC

I love me a 1911 though I don't get why the receive so much hate

2020-07-19 22:00:38 UTC

Glocks are fine

2020-07-19 22:01:06 UTC

They're practically soulless blocks of plastic (it's not actually plastic but still)

2020-07-19 22:01:21 UTC

Its about how they function not looks

2020-07-19 22:01:30 UTC

1911 has both!

2020-07-19 22:01:33 UTC

2020-07-19 22:02:04 UTC

I would never carry one they are good looking though

2020-07-19 22:02:23 UTC

Yeah idk what I'll carry.

2020-07-19 22:02:35 UTC

I love the grip safety though

2020-07-19 22:03:39 UTC

Don't need a safety if you got a good holster

2020-07-19 22:03:59 UTC

Safety is keeping your finger off the trigger

2020-07-19 22:21:06 UTC

Some states require mechanical safety mechanisms that are not integrated with the trigger. My SD 40 has only a trigger safety that disengages when the trigger is squeezed. 1911s have 3 seperate safety features. The grip disconnect, the safety selector, and half cock. In utah you need to perform 2 mechanical actions in order to open carry with one in the chamber. The safety selector and half cock meet that requirement.

2020-07-19 22:21:48 UTC

Open carry is not really that good

2020-07-19 22:22:00 UTC

You are giving away the element of surprise

2020-07-19 22:22:44 UTC

Open carry is far more effective than concealed. Its a deterrent above all. And I can draw much faster from an open carry as opposed to concealed

2020-07-19 22:23:01 UTC

Gotta practice conceal carry draw

2020-07-19 22:23:07 UTC

Can be really fast

2020-07-19 22:23:30 UTC

If they see open carry they will be more careful with you and probably take your gun

2020-07-19 22:24:12 UTC

Ever heard of the 21 foot rule?

2020-07-19 22:24:51 UTC

If you have an attacker, in an open carry scenario, he needs to be at least 21 feet away in order to draw and shoot

2020-07-19 22:25:03 UTC

Concealed is much farther

2020-07-19 22:25:10 UTC

You never know when a situation can happen if they see you got a gun they will sneakily target you first

2020-07-19 22:27:11 UTC

Or just shoot you outright cuz they see you got a gun in your hip

2020-07-19 22:28:01 UTC

Yeah this isnt the movies homes. People dont get shot over open carry. People who open carry shoot back.

2020-07-19 22:28:17 UTC

Armed societies are polite societies

2020-07-19 22:28:31 UTC

I'm not thinking about movies more what has actually happened to police officers by robbers here

2020-07-19 22:28:51 UTC

They sneak up to the officer and just take his gun

2020-07-19 22:28:52 UTC

Yes that Wendy's shooting was over a stolen taser

2020-07-19 22:29:04 UTC

Not Wendy's talking about my area
