Your CCW? rather concealed carry
I don’t own any guns. I’ve had the money for a couple months but I can’t get anything that I like because everything is sold out
And in Utah, you need to have Utah ID to buy one which I didn’t get until last August 🤔
I know about guns and have shot plenty but I don’t have the income to have my own
Well when the time comes for your own, you know what to do which is good
ye
It's not necessarily the gun you have to worry about. Ammunition is expensive and hard to find nowadays. If Joe Biden wins the election, good luck finding even a Nerf gun 😆 .
Yeah I bought 200 .45 hollow points last week and paid 100. Box of .223 is 20 bucks (a dollar a round) at ruralking.
yikes
Is it just plain fmj for that price?
Yup. Tulammo
jeezus
Saw that price and was like "blemished rounds at the pawn shop it is"
If it was specialty stuff like bthp that would be one thing, but just fmj?
My store put in orders for ammo and guns back in december and we are barely getting the shotgun ammo. But everyone has shotgun ammo.
Normal FMJ
They had cases of it for 899
I was appalled
Bought 2 mags for my 1911 which one turned out to be over tollerance on the length from the lock/release to the slide. Stops the slide cold. Cheap shit. One works good though.
Hard to find anything right now. I know a few gun stores but not that many.
But on the good side of things I finally got around to filing a few degrees off my feed ramp and bought some different hollowpoints that work much better than the round profile of the last few boxes. Works just fine with those expensive ruger mags.
> AR lowers are a bit smaller than M4 lowers
@Lyte Nope. AR15 lowers and M4 lowers are the same size. Legit M4 uppers will mount right on a commercial AR lower. Commercial lowers just lack a third hole...
What kind of 1911 do you have
That's why I corrected myself @Sage
> They feel the same but work differently
Sears and internals are different
Ah, OK. I just saw that and went "dafuq?"
@HUNTER4639 TISAS. Turkish import under SDS.
Nice
Im impressed. Worth the 400 price tag when I got it a few months ago before this run on guns. Its now over 500 in some stores. Im buying another. The only issue is the feed ramp on the frame. Theres plenty of meat to work with.
Im also looking at 80% kits and wondering if I can borrow the cnc at work.
@Yankee man I just sold two of those cap and ball revolvers about 2 weeks ago, they're pretty cool old pistols if you get into that sort of thing, personally I find them to be a hassle so I sold em to a friend that likes old stuff
Now if you want a cool old gun this is what you should get.. this was my grandfather's trench gun aka Winchester 1897
We got it restored about 10 yrs ago
Noice
No cheesegrater over the barrel tho
Heats shield?
Yes
Yep. Trench gun should have the heat shield and a bayonet lug.
not all had that
some were hastily shipped
It might have at one point but my when my g'pa died it was in pretty bad shape, falling apart and all.. my dad took everything apart to turn it into a deer slug gun, ended up taking it to a smithy so its possible at one time it had that stuff, I just know its older than I am by about 20 or so years
