Good to know. I planned on being around that price after adding all the after market accessories. $100 for drum clip optics ECT.
In today's modern manufacturing, there really isnt any difference between say Taurus and Wilson Combat. Or Colt and Remington. You buy the name, not the gun.
So. I need advice from any of you somewhat competent gunsmithing folks. I bought my first fire arm on the 5th, will be picking it up on the 15th. Its a pawnshop shotgun, and its camo coated in some sort of rush reed pattern for hunting. The paint is worn pretty heavily in some places, there are a few chips and such. I also just don't like the pattern. I figured I would refinish it in something. But I don't know if cerakote or duracoat is better, and which is easier to apply. Also I could use some pointers on good cleaning kits that aren't full of pointless garbage like 200 q-tips. Any advice would be great.
@Always Panicked oooh a fellow Commiefornian?
@HUNTER4639 Yes... But how did you figure that out?
10 day waiting period <:KEK:726877368601411624>

I know it well
I hate it already. I just want my gun. And then another gun, and maybe a few more after that.
Yeeup
Had to wait 10 days after buying my Ruger 10/22 from Bass Pro
It sucked
But it was worth the wait
I guess
I still don't get what the point of it is. You passed the background check, you gave your information. What is waiting ten days going to do? Like really, I can't think of anything that it might accomplish other then annoy people.
☝️
They think if you wait you won't kill someone because you had time to think it over. Cool down period. If your going to kill someone you probably don't want to do it with a registered firearm. And what not. Plus no waiting period on kitchen knives. I think I don't know I'm just some jerk off on the internet.
Look at that sexy beast.. man I may drive up the bidding war and post like $60.
Is it a yc9?
I'm just being silly but there are some nice ones in the auction if you want the link
I'm good thanks
I was just looking for lower parts for an ar but I didnt see any
What's so bad about Hi points? They're ugly sure, but is there any functionality issue?
They're tough as bricks
The slides are made of pot metal
And break easily
But otherwise yea, they're the Nokia 3310s of guns
😂
Hi point are what you gift to people you dont like
I mean I'd take one... A gun is a gun <:KEK:726877368601411624>
Ugly is an understatement
@Always Panicked Cerakote is a little better, but you're better off having either of those done professionally. If you want DIY, either Krylon camo (scrublord level) or Brownell's Alumahyde II (DIY friendly). If you're cool with black only, auto parts stores sell a VHT product that's identical to Alumahyde II. It takes a whole week to cure fully, though.
@GoCRAZY okay so it's like Kamala Harris and AOC had a baby.
Hey man, if you want the hi point it's got 4 days but I doubt it makes it over 50 bucks
That's a cheap pew pew
At least it's a pew pew
<:thinking:726878987837636698>
“Cheap” is right
Lol
