A bow like that sounds awesome

I guess that's an acceptable caliber for home defense.

So. I need advice from any of you somewhat competent gunsmithing folks. I bought my first fire arm on the 5th, will be picking it up on the 15th. Its a pawnshop shotgun, and its camo coated in some sort of rush reed pattern for hunting. The paint is worn pretty heavily in some places, there are a few chips and such. I also just don't like the pattern. I figured I would refinish it in something. But I don't know if cerakote or duracoat is better, and which is easier to apply. Also I could use some pointers on good cleaning kits that aren't full of pointless garbage like 200 q-tips. Any advice would be great.

I still don't get what the point of it is. You passed the background check, you gave your information. What is waiting ten days going to do? Like really, I can't think of anything that it might accomplish other then annoy people.

I live in CA, and I've been looking for a handgun that isn't sold out everywhere, the moment I click on the "high capacity" option I get this. The more I think about it the more ominous it gets.

I don't know if I'll actually be able to nab one. I was going to get the Glock 19 first because it's "the" basic handgun and it was cheaper then a CZ(still want the 75 and the PCR). But I can't find anything in 9mm that's not sold out. At this rate I might have to settle with a surplus that's over priced or a hi-point. Can't wait to leave this state and have real options.

Man, I wish the 75's would stop selling out immediately. Would love to have one but they're never in stock.
