I've only been shooting twice
once at summer camp
I've only been shooting 6 times I think
nice
pretty good
2 times a scout camp (.22 rifles and shotguns) and then once at a gun range with the scouts and 3 time with family
oh nice
nothing like shooting with family
Oh yeah it's fun lol
seeing my 70 year old grandpa fire an M16 he used 45 years ago was awesome
Nice
Alrighty I've got to go eat now it was a good conversation 👍

@A Person He teaches psychology and didn’t take it too well? Couldn’t have seen that coming
“It’s not my fault, it’s the gun’s fault”
Ahahahahah my dumb@$$ didn't know you could load rifle mags from the top instead of pushing the spring down like pistol mags. I'm smart, don't mind me.

How am I smart? IDK man I just am. I don't know these things
Are M1 Garand allowed in building shooting range?
Depends on the range
Oof ok
And the calibers allowed
Theres no caliber restrictions
Not sure what clip material I have rn
@HUNTER4639 FN Five-seveN mags can be loaded the same way as most rifle mags.
Oh really? Good to know
Not that I'll be shooting one anytime soon 🤣
how else would you load a mag if you don't load it from the top?
You push down the spring and load from the front
Only pistol I can think of that's got a double-feed mag. They shoot nice and the easier loading mag makes 'em almost worth having even if the ammo performs like .22 WMR.
Nice
do you mean double stack? because double feed = jam
Right. AR15, AK, etc. you push the round straight down into the mag between the feed lips. Most pistols, you've gotta depress the spring a little and slide the round back under the feed lips.
Double feed is a name for a jam, yes, but there are single and double feed mags. Former feeds only from the center, latter feeds from either side, alternating.
only time you have to push down on the follower and feed it under the lips is on a single stack mag
single and double stack
damn near every pistol made today is a double stack, the 1911 is about the only single stack mag except for ruger 22's
