They're pre-cut for it
There's a plate on the bottom of the receiver where the trigger is, it's held in by two rivets. Machine those out with a flat endmill or spot drill and drill em out

The trick there is using enough American made parts
Guess am new to that one I picked that ak up about 4 months ago for 600 guy needed the money
That's a good deal. Those rifles are hard to come by and they're of very good quality
Only thing i had done to it was got the barrel re capped which my gunsmith did

So what does the converts do
Allows you to use true AK furniture and magazines
One on the bottom is how they're imported
Oh ya that part does kinda suck I have to get only true saiga mags
Or pro mag which sucks

Yup i have a shop
There's a part you can buy that's called a bullet guide
You drill into the trunnion and tap it with a 6-32 tap, screw in the guide
All you need to run real AK mags
