ngl looks nice

2020-09-22 21:43:56 UTC

agreed

2020-09-22 21:44:06 UTC

I'd shoot it

I had a quick question, I had a trigger job on my Cz rami and I liked the original trigger so I had no interest in replacing it for an extra 60$ but now I regret it because I like the stainless steel look of the hammer. I saw a video on how to replace the trigger and it doesnt look too difficult, is it possible to polish a trigger the same way you would polish a barrel, by soaking it in vinegar & removing the paint?

I was also planning on polishing the barrel because I have only put 300 rounds thru the gun and the paint is starting to fade on the barrel, seems like a typical problem with czs

2020-09-22 21:51:49 UTC

I’m no expert but I wouldn’t recommend that

2020-09-22 21:52:22 UTC

If you mess with a trigger that could mess with it’s smoothness and operation abilities

2020-09-22 21:52:37 UTC

But again I’m not expert

2020-09-22 21:53:10 UTC

It seemed pretty straight forward from the video i watched

2020-09-22 21:53:20 UTC

I dont mind buying a new trigger either

2020-09-22 21:53:36 UTC

I just wanted to know if it was possible to buff the paint off

2020-09-22 21:54:04 UTC

If you buff the paint off would it be stainless steel underneath?

2020-09-22 21:54:08 UTC

Not gonna pay the 75$ fee to have a trigger replaced, its a flat rate to even have your gun worked on

2020-09-22 21:54:37 UTC

That’s expensive

2020-09-22 21:54:54 UTC

Well I would imagine so, i mean it is metal? You probably just need to buff it pretty well. But not an expert lol

2020-09-22 21:55:47 UTC

I know we’ve got some experts in this channel tho, not much literature online regarding this topic or im using the wrong wording

2020-09-23 01:17:31 UTC

Odb, almost all handguns barrel paint wears down. The way in which they cycle makes it inevitable. I would just buy stainless replacements for the things you want stainless.

2020-09-23 01:25:03 UTC

How many rounds can it hold?

2020-09-23 01:30:34 UTC

The barrel is current soaking in vinegar lol @TheYotedOne

2020-09-23 01:31:00 UTC

I havent messed with the trigger as i do not have a punch for the pins

2020-09-23 01:31:15 UTC

Yeah triggers are annoying

2020-09-23 01:31:39 UTC

I figure ill try it and if i ruin the trigger ill just order a new one

2020-09-23 01:31:40 UTC

Can't reassemble my 10/22 trigger right

2020-09-23 01:31:59 UTC

Why not?

2020-09-23 01:32:11 UTC

Idk

2020-09-23 01:32:16 UTC

It won't work

2020-09-23 01:32:32 UTC

The firing pen cocks but never releases

2020-09-23 01:32:41 UTC

And the triggers jammed

2020-09-23 01:33:08 UTC

Weird, it looked pretty easy. I wonder what went wrong

2020-09-23 01:33:26 UTC

10/22 trigger is far from easy

2020-09-23 01:33:44 UTC

Most overcomplicated trigger I've seen

2020-09-23 01:34:03 UTC

Next to my BAR mk3

2020-09-23 01:34:04 UTC

No idea what 10/22 means

2020-09-23 01:34:27 UTC

Ruger 10/22 22lr rifle

2020-09-23 01:35:09 UTC

Oh gotcha well the da/sa action trigger seems easy. Didnt look at rifle triggers

2020-09-23 01:35:40 UTC

Yeah I've heard ar triggers are hard but can't be harder than this thing
