Sighting something in all depends on how far you want to shoot.
My small pistol is at 15 feet
My big pistol is at 50 feet.
My .35 rem is at 50 yards
My 30.06 is at 400 yards

Also able to adjust the scope on the 06

So I can do shorter or longer too...

Because for my Ruger 10/22 I recently got a scope and a boresighter and I'm going to the range on Saturday so I'm going to sight it in at that point

Just sight it in to how far you expect to shoot

@GoCRAZY I have been using the vertical grip that came with my rifle, never tried a hand stop. I was looking at this

I have a magpul vert grip on my grendel

Though you can use a sling to do the same thing

But it's a 20" and hard to hold for long periods of time c clamp because of the weight and length

I guess it's sort of a fad ... though I makes a little sense for long rifles

I like that hand stop too btw @Odb, actually better than the one I have on it but you get used to the angle after a bit and it's easier with how thin the slimline handguard is
