Has anyone had issues with sighting in a scope? I've heard that in order to properly sight one in you need to be like at least 10 yards from your target is that true?

Sighting something in all depends on how far you want to shoot.
My small pistol is at 15 feet
My big pistol is at 50 feet.
My .35 rem is at 50 yards
My 30.06 is at 400 yards

Also able to adjust the scope on the 06

So I can do shorter or longer too...

Because for my Ruger 10/22 I recently got a scope and a boresighter and I'm going to the range on Saturday so I'm going to sight it in at that point
