Get yourself a 7.62x39 no-go gage

Make sure that the bolts don't close on the gage

If you put the no-go gage in and it closes, that means it's liable to pop

Be gentle when you use them; they're hardened tool steel, so they'll damage the chamber if you're brutish with them
