I like vortex. In my opinion best optic for the money and life time warranty. I wouldnt suggest anything past 10x and I like second focal plain but it is about preference. I would suggest going to a place where you can look through both types of focal plains and see first hand what you like. Maybe a dicks or field and stream, somewhere big so you can utilize the zoom. Then when you find one you like or features you want go online to buy
Is an Air Gun count Legal?
yes
he left so that was pointless
Am still here lol
I bought a SKS at an auction I don’t know much about them I’m usually buying newer guns and it’s pretty rusty is there anyway I can get the rust off?
Updated link for you H&K lovers out there https://wn.nr/vz9T5w
@Patriotic_Ohioan consider taking It to a smithy, how much did you give for it?
You don't want to spend too much on an SKS but if you got it dirt cheap, it might be worth getting it cerakoted, but that is usually expensive, and could run you over top value of the rifle quickly if you paid alot.
Is it legal if I buy an upper (10.5 inches) and a pistol brace, to put it on my DDM4V7 rifle? I figure there is no point in buying a lower if I can just swap out, does the atf have any rules against this?
Lol I can't speak for the legality of it but i did a similar thing and just ended up getting a lower because why have 1 and a half rifles when you can easily and cheaply have two
And DD is a pretty expensive rifle to just swap out an upper and brace every time you want to shoot either
Spend that extra couple hundred and grab a lower 😁
More like extra 1000 lol
Word but i get u ill just wait till i have the full amount
But that's the beauty of owning an AR-15 you can just swap out the upper
Or you can try your hand at an 80% lower
what are the best products when it comes to cleaning guns?
I use Hoppe’s No.9 Gun Cleaner or Ballistol Multipurpose Aerosol CLP
CLP is the best choice in my opinion
You can buy gun cleaning kits but most of the time the solvents in those aren't really all that great that's why I would suggest buying separate solvents
I did a stripped lower, much easier than an 80% for mine recently and it didnt break the bank, with decent parts and a trigger I like, came to right around $400 not too bad for a decent reliable build, not high end but it gets it done without fail 10/10 times
Well was closer to $500 but once you include the upper if you do them separately, it's still around 1k ish give or take a few hundred
On the low end palmetto state offers a great upper for the price around $400 and I think that's a 10.5"
And if you dont mind the wait, Aero has a complete lower right at $200
Trigger and buffer system become spare parts when I'm done but still
Yeah PSA makes good uppers, but yea strip lowers are far easier to work with than 80%, honestly I did one of those because I just wanted the experience of hair pulling <:KEK:726877368601411624>
My Lower builds average around 390 on cheap/bare bones to 600
I'm not gonna say what my AR10 was let's not talk about that
Sounds right, mine recently ended up about $500 with the stock, but I got it from a buddy for 1/3 the normal price Luth MBA 3
It's the little parts that get you, nickel and dime you to death
I did some "better" than mil spec on my pins and bs on a stripped and that alone cost more than the stripped lower
Cheapest I've done a Lower was an Anderson's at 55, parts kit for 35, buffer kit for 30 and shockwave for 25....its was for my .300 blackout build. It the upper that did me in 425....
Even still the lower was more than it should be, I think like 3 months ago you could get a decent stripped lower for $35 its $65 now
This was before the price hikeing
What the heck are lowers and why are they half the price of a complete gun?
And I caught a sale lol
Lol
