I am looking at buying this for my 30-30, and then whenever I finally buy an AR, I would probably swap it over. Anybody know if this is a good sight? Any good alternatives?

Holosuns are fine, honestly you could get by with a budget reflex starting out

I don't have experience with that particular holo sun but I have friends who run different model holo sun's and recommend them. I also used their rifles a few times and don't have anything bad to say.

On the scope thing I went back and forth on a vortex strike eagle and a spitfire 3x, ended up with a Spitfire but I wonder if I made the right choice sometimes
