You cant do anything at 18 anymore

2020-10-31 17:00:56 UTC

Cant drink, cant smoke, cant rent a car, but you can buy rifles and get massivle loans

2020-10-31 17:05:06 UTC

Can't even buy rifles anymore

2020-10-31 17:07:19 UTC

In cali?

2020-10-31 17:08:48 UTC

I think you can still buy rifles at 18 in most places, unless the gov passed something while I wasnt looking.

2020-10-31 17:09:13 UTC

but rent a car?? are you serious you have to be 21 to rent a shitty mini-van at an airport?

2020-10-31 17:09:23 UTC

Yeah you can buy rifles and long guns at 18 and handguns at 21 in most states

2020-10-31 17:09:38 UTC

oh ok, thats what I thought

2020-10-31 17:10:12 UTC

But in Idaho, although you cannot purchase a pistol until 21 you can open carry at 18 so you can own one but not buy it

2020-10-31 17:10:13 UTC

@sixfivebyfiftyfive 25 to rent cars

2020-10-31 17:10:15 UTC

😂

2020-10-31 17:10:24 UTC

It makes no sense but oh well

2020-10-31 17:10:34 UTC

25?? and yet the dems want us to lower to voting age to 16

2020-10-31 17:10:35 UTC

Nothing legal, its just every car rental chose 25

2020-10-31 17:10:36 UTC

my ass

2020-10-31 17:10:48 UTC

You can rent a menards pickup tho

2020-10-31 17:11:01 UTC

trucks are more fun anyways

2020-10-31 17:11:23 UTC

I learned to drive in a ram 1500 and then a ford f150. I love em so much!

2020-10-31 17:12:20 UTC

I learned in a 1991 plymouth voyager minivan with a bad transmission. The idea that if you learn to drive in a really bad car you can drive anything

2020-10-31 17:13:11 UTC

Whenever I get out of college in a few years, I want a pickup truck. I grew up in the subs of a major city and never saw much point in then but now I'm going to graduate school in a rural area, I really want one

2020-10-31 17:13:35 UTC

I want one but dont really need one, ive got 3 coups tho 😂

2020-10-31 17:14:13 UTC

Summer car, winter car, classic car

2020-10-31 17:14:45 UTC

I'm in a bit of a dif. boat. I could use a truck (kayaks, bikes, etc.) but as much I want a coupe, I see almost no practical reason to own one.

2020-10-31 17:16:03 UTC

I got a pickup truck

2020-10-31 17:16:07 UTC

Fancy, I'm still driving my father's last car and the amount I've paid for repairs in the last year I have paid more into it then it's technically worth. However, I still couldn't get a car as nice with my stipend so for now I'll keep repairing it.

2020-10-31 17:16:17 UTC

Half the people in here would tell me that a ford ranger isn't a "real truck" though

2020-10-31 17:16:54 UTC

its not, really. more like a coupe with a bed.

2020-10-31 17:16:57 UTC

Ive never been given a vehicle, tho i baught my first car out of a junk yard more/less

2020-10-31 17:17:10 UTC

Fixed her up and drive her for 2 years

2020-10-31 17:17:15 UTC

I mean, I've loaded 1000 pounds of aluminum blocks into the back of mine and it sat just about level

2020-10-31 17:17:32 UTC

The 4.0 didn't struggle with the weight, either

2020-10-31 17:17:42 UTC

lol I am just messin' with ya bro. I grew up in Texas and was raised to be a truck snob

2020-10-31 17:17:57 UTC

Forgive me, I have to deal with this crap almost daily at work

2020-10-31 17:18:08 UTC

bless ya

2020-10-31 17:18:12 UTC

2020-10-31 17:18:48 UTC

2020-10-31 17:18:54 UTC

2020-10-31 17:19:18 UTC

2020-10-31 17:19:25 UTC

2020-10-31 17:19:26 UTC
