@Give-IQ-Nades I think the most important thing you can do is narrow down what style gun you want.
Striker fire
DA/SA
SAO

2020-11-08 04:38:53 UTC

This guy does a good job explaining da/sa

2020-11-08 04:39:26 UTC

Da/sa is my personal favorite to carry, I believe it is the most safe.

2020-11-08 04:39:52 UTC

Didn't even know that was a thing thanks

2020-11-08 04:43:27 UTC

Let's say about $140

2020-11-08 04:43:35 UTC

For a budget

2020-11-08 04:44:07 UTC

With the current pressures, I'm really job hunting so I can finally obtain a steady source of income.

@Give-IQ-Nades
Yes, Glocks are Striker fire, they use an internal striker instead of an external hammer.
Single action only have external hammers, single action means it only preforms 1 job, that job is releasing the hammer from a cocked position.
A double action single action starts off in double action mode, which means the trigger performs two jobs, it takes the hammer from a rested position & cocks it and releases it in the same motion. Every shot after the first shot will perform in single action mode. Videos will explain it better

To make things harder, I live in So. CAL.

2020-11-08 04:44:42 UTC

@Fear & Frank In Las Vegas I live in Cali. I can help you

2020-11-08 04:44:49 UTC

@Fear & Frank In Las Vegas I think Hi points are around 140?

2020-11-08 04:44:58 UTC

I wouldn't get a hi point

2020-11-08 04:45:18 UTC

Idk where to go at 140

2020-11-08 04:45:30 UTC

Pawn shop is probably the best option

2020-11-08 04:45:43 UTC

Probably got a used shield for less than 200

2020-11-08 04:46:18 UTC

You're gonna need to up your budget Don

2020-11-08 04:46:43 UTC

Its gonna be tricky to find anything less than 300, let alone 200

2020-11-08 04:47:10 UTC

I mean you can get plenty at 200

2020-11-08 04:47:33 UTC

There's not much out here for 200

2020-11-08 04:47:52 UTC

Costs a good chunk of change on top of the sticker price to get a gun out the door, too

2020-11-08 04:48:16 UTC

Safety cert is 25 bucks, background check is another 50, transfer fee can be 100 if you order online

2020-11-08 04:48:31 UTC

You haven't even bought ammo yet either

2020-11-08 04:48:50 UTC

What part of Cal

2020-11-08 04:49:03 UTC

I live in the Bay Area

2020-11-08 04:49:38 UTC

Ah

2020-11-08 04:49:47 UTC

2020-11-08 04:54:24 UTC

Bastardized?

2020-11-08 04:57:14 UTC

It needs real AK furniture

2020-11-08 04:57:31 UTC

its cali compliant

2020-11-08 04:57:41 UTC

and still makes me uncomfortable looking at it

2020-11-08 05:02:17 UTC

@ThatShadyVandal dude holy shit, is it really that expensive in cali? I live in Georgia and background checks are free and transfer are 40$ lol

2020-11-08 05:02:41 UTC

Wtf is a safety cert

2020-11-08 05:02:41 UTC

I always had a feeling the AK in and of itself was a bastard rifle

2020-11-08 05:03:36 UTC

@Odb They make you take some stupid test to get a safety certificate

2020-11-08 05:04:34 UTC

My AK cost me 700 bucks sticker price. By the time I got it out the door, it was like 863

2020-11-08 05:30:14 UTC

I'd Carry a USP 45

2020-11-08 05:30:29 UTC

or FN Tac 45/FNP

2020-11-08 05:58:24 UTC

2020-11-08 05:58:48 UTC

2020-11-08 05:58:49 UTC
