Have you shot guns before? If not I like to recommend getting a 22LR rifle. They are usually cheap and ammo is next to nothing so you get get lots of practice.

Anyone know if cheaper than dirt is a good place to buy gun stuff?

My dad used to use them but he doesn't recommend them if you can find a better place. I guess they used to have issues with shipping, but that was almost ten years ago

i don't think cheaper than dirt is phony, they just have had some issues in the past. otherwise, I think they at least used to have great customer service. Again, it's been years since we used them

it is not illegal to self manufacture guns if you are not selling them

as long as you follow atf guidelines and do not make an unregistered sbr or anything it's completely legal

oh and lil tip

for ar pistols DO NOT PUT A VERTICAL FOREGRIP GRIP ON THEM, this makes it go past he definition of a pistol

and the atf will use that against you.

instead imprint the magwell with a grip texture and round it out.

basically follow your federal and state laws
