@Alpha-57

Comfort is what you get used to. Stop shooting your 1911 for a year and only shoot the Glock, and the 1911 will feel weird when you go back to it. UNLESS you have an injury or odd shaped hands . I shoot everything from original colt 1911's to Glocks to Sigs, to Browning, to CZ to Ruger in 6 different calibers, the second mag becomes comfortable. I think you're not shooting other weapons enough. If it does hit the fan, you need to be as handy with a weapon you've never seen as the one you've used for years. If it goes bang, its fun.

2020-11-15 02:10:14 UTC

Am I not allowed to say that I don't like Glocks? It's an opinion. I don't enjoy them, not because I can't shoot them, but because I simply think they are a generic point and shoot.

I can shoot just fine with my Glock, I just choose not to shoot it.

Put simply: you are entitled to your opinion, but don't tell me what mine should be.

2020-11-15 02:10:44 UTC

Everyone who's a shooter has a preferred weapon

2020-11-15 02:11:22 UTC

I like his choice

2020-11-15 02:11:47 UTC

Each there own I'd say

2020-11-15 02:13:25 UTC

I'm neutral on guns for the most part. If you like Glocks, great. If you like SIGs or HKs or 1911's, I respect that.

It's ok to be neutral about some things, it's not the end of the world.

2020-11-15 02:14:20 UTC

I'm basically the same mindset

2020-11-15 02:25:45 UTC

Till they bring out a high point lol

2020-11-15 02:33:17 UTC

Especially if they call it a Glock 40

2020-11-15 02:38:59 UTC

Someone pinged me from this channel

2020-11-15 02:41:14 UTC

> i have a drawing of a crusader with a triple barrel shotgun in hand called the holy trinity (inspiration from @ThiccSpicyGenderRevealParty) i'll show it later because i need to color it and also take a picture of it and better quality then my laptop
It was Righteous Crusader, I believe, this is the post from earlier.

2020-11-15 02:41:52 UTC

Ah I see

2020-11-15 02:52:39 UTC

You continue to miss my point, yes there are personal preferences based on numerous reasons, for selecting a firearm to own and use. That is NOT what you said however, you said one was more fun to shoot than the other. That's where I called BS. Unless it hurts to shoot it, like maybe a 50 cal or a .410 derringer EVERYTHING is fun to shoot. ... hell even those are fun, it just hurts.

2020-11-15 02:53:05 UTC

Can anyone recommend any good low cost scopes? Thx

2020-11-15 03:40:11 UTC

I recently got a cabelas brand scope and I’ve been very impressed with it. Bushnell is another great option. Depends what you’re lookin for tho.

2020-11-15 03:43:13 UTC

I would spend $350 on a vortex, they have a good guarantee and so do leupold

2020-11-15 03:44:25 UTC

I agree. If you can afford something like the Strike Eagle II then go for it but those other two are quality low budget scopes

2020-11-15 03:44:47 UTC

I have a crossfire 2 vortex

2020-11-15 03:44:54 UTC

It is gud

2020-11-15 03:45:22 UTC

Oh nice

2020-11-15 03:48:27 UTC

I have a mid-range Vortex PST, and it's great. Vortex has always been good optic quality for the price in my experience.

2020-11-15 03:49:11 UTC

Whats the cost of mid range lol

2020-11-15 03:50:10 UTC

3-6 hundred

2020-11-15 04:01:02 UTC

I have the PST Gen 1, which I got for $600. The Gen 2 version can go for twice that.

Personally, I'd say Vortex' low-end are the $300-600, mid is $600-1,200 and high end is $1,200+. I dont discount the quality of the optics by price, though. Even the cheap scopes are amazing quality.

@RB yes, one is more fun to shoot TO ME. My statements were personal opinions, therefore they are subjective statements. What is enjoyable to one may not be enjoyable to another.

2020-11-15 04:10:25 UTC

I personally have no joy in shooting a Glock, even when there was a time that it was my only firearm. Did I shoot it? Yes. Did I enjoy shooting? Yes. Do I enjoy it the same as my 1911? No.

2020-11-15 05:10:57 UTC

That's similar to my mindset to. Do I have fun shooting my subcompact carry pistol, sure. However for pure joy of shooting I'm shooting a full size pistol or even better, a rifle. There's a difference between the fun you get by shooting any gun and the fun you can have by shooting to your favorite guns.

2020-11-15 05:14:28 UTC

can't wait til I get a chance to shoot a pistol

2020-11-15 05:20:38 UTC

Well black powder guns I don't think are classified as guns so technically you could buy a black powder pistol and have it shipped to you even if your under 18.

2020-11-15 05:28:18 UTC

Yes even a felony can't have and carry one of those and hope its not to damp that day lol

2020-11-15 05:28:32 UTC

Can

2020-11-15 05:44:10 UTC

I should try to get myself an AR

2020-11-15 05:44:34 UTC

Since I can own one here in my state even though I'm under 18
