My new ShapeShift drop-leg fom Alien Gear came in today. Anyone who's considering it, please be aware that the slightest deviation from stock on your gun may mean that the holster won't fit. I had to dremel away a notch for my sight and slide release.

Once I got that sorted, it really is a decent holster.

Yeah, I have a Mec-gar 8 round mag and a Kimber 8 round mag, although I'm not a huge fan of the Kimber mag.

Not much , other than there made by STI..mostly for competition use, double stack, they are a very high end 1911...they sometimes run expensive 2k or more

I have never killed a coyote. But some how my grandma managed to kill on with a .22 LR
