Do you have a class three license for the number of SBRs and silencers you seem to have?

2020-11-20 23:13:21 UTC

no just lots of stamp taxes

2020-11-20 23:13:30 UTC

10 now 😦

2020-11-20 23:13:58 UTC

the form 1 for making your own SBR from a pistol/rifle is quick at least

2020-11-20 23:18:30 UTC

@Stargatemaster96 class 3 licence is a myth

2020-11-20 23:20:41 UTC

I know class 3 is the general term and there is an official term but people know it as class 3.

2020-11-20 23:21:49 UTC

Basically you need to become a licensed FFL dealer from what I understand and it has the perks of not needing all the stamps.

2020-11-20 23:24:15 UTC

FFL dealer with an SOT builders licence

2020-11-20 23:25:39 UTC

Yep, but people know what you mean when you say class three and not the real term.

2020-11-20 23:25:54 UTC

I've seen people say how they're sick of the words "Class 3 license", because according to them it's not a thing.

2020-11-20 23:25:57 UTC

Ok I see

2020-11-20 23:26:20 UTC

It's wrong, but by repetition people have adopted it.

2020-11-20 23:26:23 UTC

😂

2020-11-20 23:26:33 UTC

Ye

2020-11-20 23:27:14 UTC

Because SOT can sell/build silencers, SBS’s and SBR’s, and make and own dealer-only machine guns

2020-11-20 23:28:11 UTC

But with it also called a class 3 SOT it's a better slang then when people say assault rifles which actually are a thing and not what people say they are.

2020-11-20 23:29:33 UTC

Theres actually no 3 at all

2020-11-20 23:29:56 UTC

I worked for an FFL+SOT

2020-11-20 23:32:37 UTC

I'm confused with the wording, it says no such thing as class three but then lists classes of SOT.

2020-11-20 23:34:40 UTC

Maybe it means they don't actually call it that

2020-11-20 23:37:46 UTC

Its just a common nickname

2020-11-20 23:41:20 UTC

Anybody know what a 22 quiet sounds like through a suppressor

2020-11-20 23:41:40 UTC

A blowgun? 😂

2020-11-20 23:42:41 UTC

Lol

2020-11-20 23:44:15 UTC

A single-shot pattern 22LR with subsonic ammo is so quiet you just hear the firing pin click

2020-11-20 23:44:34 UTC

Its wicked cool

2020-11-20 23:44:53 UTC

Ex, bolt action, lever action or straight-pulls

2020-11-21 00:05:54 UTC

@Winnie37a i need to pick up a 22, but like Undead said, it's extremely quiet

2020-11-21 00:06:23 UTC

https://streamable.com/jr29ji subsonic 220 gr 300 blackout

2020-11-21 00:07:02 UTC

that's still ~115ish at the shooter's ear

2020-11-21 00:07:18 UTC

comfortable enough to shoot without hearing protection

2020-11-21 00:07:35 UTC

(however you should still use it, hearing damage is additive over time)

2020-11-21 00:08:31 UTC

That's actually really cool

2020-11-21 00:09:26 UTC

I picked up some local company's 300 blackout "subsonic" once and even out of my 10.2 inch barrel some went supersonic which was not fun on the ears

2020-11-21 00:10:05 UTC

if you have the tools, you can form 1 a suppressor and wait only a month or two instead of 10

2020-11-21 00:10:18 UTC

highly recommend going that route. there's kits some companies sell

2020-11-21 00:11:26 UTC

only need a drill press and a way to engrave it (if you don't care how it looks, a dremel works)

2020-11-21 00:13:46 UTC

I got mine after 7 but i E-Filed
