Not sure where you live, but some states like Tennessee let you renew online if you're over 21.

Tennessee also has driver's license renewal kiosk at DMVs and even some universities so you don't have to wait in line at DMV.

Also, Tennessee I think is still suspending any driver's license expirations during coronavirus right now so your state may do the same meaning your license is still valid.
