Sorry to butt in, I just want a opinion: is the Century VSKA reliable? Bought one out of fear for the next 4+ years, as it was one of the cheaper options at the store I got it from (was looking for a rifle specifically)
Century Arms in my opinion has bad Firearms, The FAL I got from CA had a major malfunction, the bolt cracked and I've talk to other people who own CA weapons they had different issues. I made a rule not to buy from century but with that said How's yours shoot and function?
That's the thing.. I just got it, so I've yet to put some rounds through it. I've looked online and its reception is mixed.. Some people hate it just because it is Century, while others love it and put it near the top of their AK lists. Obviously I won't know until I fire it, but the biggest issue I've seen with the early VSKA batches was varied distance in ejected rounds; which, given the serial mine has, shouldn't be an issue
I'd say just give it a shot, you just never know it could a great entry level AK. I've just had bad luck, so Century Arms is on my "burn shit w/ diesel" list, them and a few others
"give it a shot" was that pun intended? Lol
So far none of my other guns have given me issues, and I'm hoping that continues with this one
Saw that, hehe
Why no it wasn't a pun 👀 😆
Remember when Apple removed the Actual Gun emoji as if they were helping against gun violence?
🔫
I should get a glock cerakoted like that 🤣
California City does not understand why people have guns at home.
Which is not surprising.
All these people don't understand that a trespasser won't begin monologuing, and give you time for you to unlock a safe, charge your weapon, load it, and shoot.
I saw that :/
no kidding. Having all your guns under lock and key is pretty useless when u need em. not to mention, you cant always put a big, heavy safe in the most accessible place.
I get keeping guns and ammo stored safely, but there is nothing wrong, imo, with having a rifle on the wall or a gun in the dresser drawer when your at home.
My house is locked, so all my weapons are stored under lock and key, save those I carry when I leave the house.
you think that argument would stand up in court?
I think your 100% right in saying that a house should be your safe space in every way shape and form, but idk the our justice system views it that way
because they don't actually care about your safety
if they did, they wouldn't be screwing anyone unfortunate enough to still be in that state with their extremely stupid laws. Like for example, that whole thing with you having to disassemble an ar15 to reload it while it only has a 10 round mag
ye that is bull shit. at that point, a bolt gun with a 3 round mag is more viable. :/
Isn't there a french rifle that only has 3 rounds?
maybe? ik most modern bolt guns are limited to 3 rounds for hunting. :/
at least by certain manufacturers
like I think the browning a-bolt for sure, but that is more just to get you to pay the premium for an x bolt with detachable mags I think.
just looked it up, its the Berthier rifle
easier to reload then say a Lebel, but only has 3 compared to the lebel's 8
hmm.
french gun, right?
both of them are
were they all this short, or is this just a cqc version?
i think thats just a cqc version
